I hated interviews. Not because I couldn’t answer the questions, but because I’ve never been particularly comfortable selling myself. I would undersell achievements, qualify good answers and generally make myself sound less capable than I actually was.

Gary spotted all of that and didn’t let me get away with any of it. He took me through role-play sessions that were challenging, occasionally uncomfortable and incredibly useful. He would stop me, challenge an answer and make me do it again until I could communicate the same thing with clarity and confidence, while still sounding like myself.

Gary didn’t turn me into an interview robot or give me lines to learn. He helped me become a much better version of myself in an interview. The difference between my first practice interview and the real interviews I was doing a few weeks later was enormous.
